The AWS - GEO Earth Observation Cloud Credits Programme Webinar will answer basic questions related to the initiative, including:

  • What is the cloud?
  • What services does AWS offer?

During this entry-level webinar, participants will learn how the Cloud Credits Programme can help researchers and policy makers around the world make faster and better decisions, through a high-level overview of cloud concepts and core AWS services including Amazon EC2 and Amazon S3. The webinar will also demonstrate how AWS can be used to facilitate work with large-scale Earth observation data.
